On April 23, 2017, Willie Parker, a 32-year-old resident of North Las Vegas, was found shot to death. The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. near Tropical Parkway and Losee Road. Parker's body was discovered in the middle of the road with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, neck, and head. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
