In the early hours of July 5, 2017, the life of 30-year-old Black/African American male Marquian Hearring was cut short in a hail of gunfire at a Las Vegas apartment complex. The events leading to his death began unfolding during Fourth of July celebrations at the complex located on the 4300 block of North Lamont Street.
