On the night of October 1, 2017, Victor Loyd Link, a 55-year-old Caucasian male from Aliso Viejo, California, was attending the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the aftermath, law enforcement identified the lone gunman, who was found deceased in his hotel room from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Because the perpetrator of the mass shooting acted alone and was deceased, there were no subsequent arrests or suspects pursued in connection with the deaths of Victor Loyd Link and the other victims of this tragic event.
