In the winter of 2018, a beloved mother and grandmother, 55-year-old Celia Luna, went to open the check-cashing business where she had worked for over three years in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the morning of January 11th, her life was tragically cut short in a violent act that left her family and community searching for answers. Two young men, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, confronted her in what police have described as an attempted robbery. During the encounter, Luna was shot.
