In the early morning hours of March 24, 2018, the quiet of a Las Vegas neighborhood was broken by a grim discovery. A passerby noticed a man lying unresponsive on the sidewalk in the 4200 block of North Lamont Street, across from an elementary school. Upon closer inspection, it was realized he had been shot, and a call was placed to 911 at approximately 12:27 a.m. Medical personnel arrived at the scene, but it was too late for the male victim, who was pronounced deceased.
