On a Sunday night in late April of 2018, 18-year-old Jaiden Garcia, a Hispanic male, was nearing the end of his time at C.O. Bastian High School and looking forward to a new chapter in his life. Hoping to make a new friend, he went with two other people to a party at a trailer park in North Las Vegas.
