In the late afternoon of May 9, 2021, a dispute in a northeast Las Vegas home tragically escalated, ending the life of 37-year-old Raymie Henderson Jr., a Black / African American male. Responding to reports of a shooting at approximately 5:40 p.m., police arrived at a residence on the 3200 block of Lava Avenue, near Owens Avenue and Mojave Road, to find Henderson inside suffering from gunshot wounds.
