On May 5, 2020, a homicide investigation was initiated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department following the death of 19-year-old Trayvone Dixon. The incident occurred at an apartment complex located at 4995 S. Maryland Parkway, #10, in the central valley area of Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to the police reports and news sources, Trayvone Dixon's death was the result of multiple gunshot wounds, which were determined to be the cause of his homicide.
