In the heat of a Las Vegas summer night on July 8, 2018, a dispute that began with fists inside Mambos Nightclub on East Tropicana Avenue tragically escalated, claiming the life of 44-year-old Manuel "Uel" Enriquez. The initial altercation, a fistfight between Enriquez and another man, spilled out from the club and into the parking lot. It was there that the conflict took a fatal turn.
The man with whom Enriquez had been fighting pulled out a gun and opened fire.
Enriquez was struck by multiple gunshots. By the time Las Vegas police arrived at the chaotic scene, the shooter had already vanished into the night. The Clark County coroner's office would later confirm that Enriquez's death was a homicide caused by the gunshot wounds he sustained.
