In the late afternoon sun of August 23, 2020, a life was tragically cut short in northeast Las Vegas. Christopher Williams, a 16-year-old Black male, was walking along Las Vegas Boulevard North when an altercation with a group of other teenagers turned fatal. At approximately 2:59 p.m., near Nellis Boulevard, at least one gunshot rang out, striking Williams in the abdomen.
