On July 4, 2021, a violent incident occurred in North Las Vegas, Nevada, resulting in the deaths of two young men, including 22-year-old Aljavonn Williams. The incident took place at a Fourth of July party located on the 1200 block of West Helen Avenue, near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Carey Avenue.
