Ashley Marilyn Green, a 26-year-old Black woman, was tragically killed on October 30, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident that led to her death began to unfold at the Solaire Apartments located at 1750 E. Karen Avenue. A dispute concerning COVID-19 loan funds was the catalyst for the violence that ensued.
