In the late evening hours of Friday, November 19, 2021, a tragedy unfolded in a North Las Vegas neighborhood that would cut short the life of Marvin Perkins, a 56-year-old man. The night was shattered by the sound of gunfire, a disturbance that prompted calls to the authorities at approximately 10:10 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Marcella Avenue, a residential area situated near the intersection of Carey Avenue and Revere Street.
