In the days leading up to his death, 31-year-old Christopher Pineda, a male, had been involved in altercations with another man. The conflict escalated two days before the fatal encounter when a man was captured on video driving up to the Rainbow Market on East Lake Mead Boulevard in a pickup truck and physically assaulting Pineda behind the store. This same man would soon be accused of ending Pineda’s life.
