In the summer of 2022, the life of 19-year-old Samiir Smith, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the evening of July 29th, just before 10:15 p.m., a violent encounter unfolded inside an apartment on the 1900 block of Cindysue Street.
