In the spring of 2022, a dispute over missing work tools escalated into a fatal encounter, claiming the life of 43-year-old Ignacio Soto III. A resident of Las Vegas for over two decades, Soto, a husband and father of two sons, worked in construction and was a member of the Laborer's Union Local 872.
