On March 8, 1986, 61-year-old Lee James Ashley was found dead in his flower shop at 1668 Marion Street in Denver, Colorado. He had been shot to death during a robbery.

Despite ongoing investigations, the case remains unsolved. The Denver Police Department's Cold Case Unit continues to seek information that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect or suspects responsible for this murder.
