In the spring of 1987, concern began to grow for Bobby Montgomery after he vanished. A missing person report was filed with the Denver Police Department for the 32-year-old Black male on April 4, 1987. The search for Montgomery came to a tragic end just two days later. On April 6, while attempting to locate him, Denver Police Detectives discovered his body inside an apartment situated on the 1200 block of East 16th Avenue.
