Murdered

Luis Zuniga, aged 44, was shot and killed on November 9, 2014, in Chicago's Belmont Cragin neighborhood. The incident occurred as Luis was returning home from church in the afternoon. He was attacked in front of his home, and despite emergency services being called to the scene, he succumbed to his injuries. The homicide added to the escalating violence Chicago was experiencing during that period, particularly in neighborhoods dealing with rising crime and gang activity.
