Matthew M. Williams, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 5, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, Williams was inside a basement apartment in the 7100 block of South Calumet Avenue when he was shot in the back.
