In the early morning hours of a late September day in Detroit, Michigan, the life of 19-year-old Patrice Anderson was tragically cut short. On September 26, 2015, the young mother was driving with her boyfriend when their vehicle was approached by a dark-colored car at the intersection of Shelf Font and Cherry. Without warning, an occupant of the other vehicle opened fire, striking Patrice in the chest. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
