On September 4, 2024, at approximately 8:10 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in the 18100 block of Runyon Street on Detroit's east side, resulting in the death of 42-year-old Tasneen Sherrod. The shooting took place near the intersection of East 7 Mile Road and Hoover Street.
