In the early morning hours of November 26, 2005, a disturbance outside a Colorado Springs establishment at 2555 South Chelton Road tragically cut short the life of 26-year-old Kevin Jamaal Andrews. A Black male, Andrews was found lying on the ground in the parking lot by responding police officers around 3:40 a.m., having sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and a subsequent autopsy confirmed his death was a homicide.
