On the first of June, what should have been an ordinary day turned into a nightmare when three masked men forced their way into her home. The violent intrusion unfolded in the presence of her five-year-old son, who witnessed the horrific events that led to his mother's death.
Beaudette was fatally shot during the home invasion, a senseless act of violence that left a community in shock and a young boy without his mother.
The investigation into the death of the young woman quickly moved forward, leading to the apprehension of four individuals. Authorities identified three men, Ryan Michael Brown, Dylan Peters, and Matthew Robert Moore, as the intruders who stormed Beaudette's apartment. A fourth suspect, a woman named Shayanna Breann Burton, was also implicated in the crime. Prosecutors pieced together that the group had targeted the residence based on information provided by Burton, who claimed she had been wronged by someone living there. This revelation painted a picture of a targeted attack that spiraled into a fatal encounter.
