Ruth Albert, a Black female, was murdered on January 5, 1990, in Dayton, Ohio. She was found deceased in her home in Montgomery County, and her case has remained unsolved since that day. The homicide was initially investigated by the Dayton Police Department, and the case has been cataloged as an open cold case by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).
