Beatrice "Nicole" Warren-Curtis, a 36-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on August 4, 2019, in Dayton, Ohio. She was in the Oregon District with her friend Monica Brickhouse when a gunman opened fire, killing nine people, including Warren-Curtis. The suspected shooter, Connor Betts, was killed by police shortly after the attack. Warren-Curtis succumbed to gunshot wounds to her torso and right arm.
