Jasmine Leonard, a 38-year-old woman from Dayton, OH, tragically died on April 12, 2014, after being shot in the head by her estranged husband, Dustin Leonard. The incident occurred at their home in the 700 block of Hodapp Avenue. Dustin Leonard, who was 45 years old at the time, shot Jasmine before turning the gun on himself. Jasmine was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment but succumbed to her injuries two months later while in hospice care.
