Erika Rennae Bryant, a 26-year-old Caucasian woman, died on December 2, 2017, in a tragic event that unfolded within her Westminster, Colorado, home. The circumstances of her death were discovered after police responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the vicinity of 85th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. Upon their arrival, officers found a somber scene.
Inside the home, law enforcement discovered Erika Bryant and a man, identified as 28-year-old Tino Valle, both deceased.
The investigation that followed, led by the Westminster Police Department, determined that Erika had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The case was soon classified as an apparent murder-suicide, stemming from a domestic violence situation.
Investigators concluded that the incident was a contained event between Bryant and Valle, with no outstanding danger to the public. Evidence suggested that the tragic outcome was the result of a domestic dispute that had escalated. It is believed one of the individuals involved placed a call to the police just before the fatal shots were fired. As the sole suspect in Erika's death was also deceased, no arrests were made in the case, and the investigation was concluded without implicating any other individuals. The Adams County Coroner officially confirmed the identities of both Erika Bryant and Tino Valle on December 6, 2017.
