On October 7, 2022, Tanya Scowden, a 47-year-old female, was fatally shot in Westminster, Colorado. The incident that led to her death was rooted in a complex and fraught personal relationship. Scowden was the manager of the Storage Etc. self-storage facility, where she also resided.
