In the early morning hours of a September weekend in 2018, the life of a promising U.S. Army captain was tragically cut short on the streets of downtown Colorado Springs. Daniel Chamberlain Lehman, a 28-year-old male stationed at Fort Carson, was found deceased near an intersection. An investigation revealed he had been shot and killed while walking home.
