Delaney, known to his loved ones as 'Josh'
and by the nickname 'Strap,' was discovered inside his white Jeep Cherokee, which had crashed into a wooden fence. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation into his death revealed that just before the shooting, Delaney had been at the Platinum 25 nightclub. It is believed that an altercation may have taken place at the club, a known gathering spot for local gang members.
