In the early morning hours of June 29, 2019, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the life of 18-year-old Kevin Santana-Villa was tragically cut short. The young man was found deceased on the track field of Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy, the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident, which unfolded just before 5 a.m., also resulted in the death of 22-year-old Diego Cruz-Aceves, who was discovered nearby with grave injuries and later died at a local hospital.
