In the summer of 2019, a dispute over rent in a southeast Colorado Springs home escalated into a fatal act of violence, claiming the life of 35-year-old Paul Miller. The tragic events unfolded on July 3rd, when police were called to a residence on oldsquaw Drive. Upon arrival, they found Miller deceased from a gunshot wound. The ensuing investigation quickly pointed to his housemate, James W. Hanlon, as the suspect.
