Tyre Cary Falls, a 27-year-old Black male, was shot on the night of October 19, 2019, in east Denver. Officers responded to reports of a shooting, and Falls was rushed to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. Two days later, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner formally identified him and ruled his death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound.
