On the night of January 11, 2010, 21-year-old Lonell Franklin was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Denver, Colorado. Lonell and his friend, DeShon Lee, were stopped at a traffic light near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Steele Street when a silver or gray SUV pulled up alongside their vehicle.
