In March of 2020, the community of Greeley, Colorado, was shaken by the tragic death of Tara Lee Vance, a 49-year-old Caucasian woman. On March 11th, concerned for her welfare, officers from the Greeley Police Department arrived at a residence in the 7000 block of 19th Street to conduct a check. Inside the home, they made a grim discovery: the bodies of Tara and a man identified as 40-year-old Daniel Cavazos.
