Woman's body found in the St. Vrain River after going missing
On July 26, 1996, the body of 41-year-old Sheryl "Sherry" Parker was discovered in the St. Vrain River near Weld County Roads 43 and 90, just outside of Greeley, Colorado. Sherry had been reported missing on July 17, 1996, after she checked into a motel in Del Camino following an argument with her husband. Investigators later determined that she had died from blunt force trauma, and her death was ruled a homicide.
