On June 20, 2020, Angel de la Cruz, a 27-year-old resident of Denver, Colorado, was found dead under tragic and mysterious circumstances. His body was discovered by a passerby on the southbound off-ramp at the intersection of I-25 and 20th Street, a location notably close to Mile High Stadium. De la Cruz had been shot and was found dumped in the middle of the off-ramp, a scene that his wife, Bernadette Martinez, described as "bizarre" and "crazy."
