On March 18, 2018, Brad Kottke, a 48-year-old man from Denver, Colorado, was tragically shot and killed in the Highlands neighborhood. The incident occurred at the intersection of 25th Street and Grove Street, a location just two blocks from Kottke's residence. According to his father, Gordon Kottke, Brad was walking home from the grocery store when the fatal shooting took place.
