In the small community of Fort Lupton, Colorado, the life of Joshua Guy Schuler, a 36-year-old White/Caucasian male, was cut short in a violent encounter. On the afternoon of Saturday, December 5, 2020, police responded to reports of a shooting at the KC Motel. There they found Schuler, a guest at the motel who held addresses in both Colorado and Nebraska, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital for medical attention, but his injuries proved to be too severe.
He succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead.
