On a warm Friday evening, August 18, 2017, the life of An Tan Nguyen, a 38-year-old man, was tragically cut short in a shooting near City Park in Denver. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of 28th Avenue and Albion Street, a normally quiet residential area. Nguyen was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to Denver Health, where he succumbed to his injuries. His death was ruled a homicide.
