A gathering of family to celebrate a birthday on Mother's Day turned into a scene of unimaginable horror, leaving a community in Colorado Springs reeling and a family decimated. Sandra Cecilia Ibarra, a 28-year-old female, was among the six victims of a mass shooting that unfolded in the early hours of May 9, 2021, at a mobile home park on the east side of the city.
