In the summer of 2021, a deeply tragic and violent series of events unfolded in Denver, Colorado, leading to the death of 41-year-old Neomi Tafoya. On the evening of July 24th, Tafoya had gone to the home of a woman considered to be her friend, Lisa Garcia, located in the 4700 block of North Vine Street.
