In the early hours of May 5, 2022, Marquise Harris, a 47-year-old male, was shot and killed in Denver. The Denver Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 8800 block of East 12th at 9:08 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Mr. Harris, who was then transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner later confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound and ruled the manner of death a homicide.
