In the early hours of May 28, 2022, the life of 19-year-old Montaries Jennings was tragically cut short in a shooting in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The young man was in the 3800 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue when gunfire erupted at approximately 1:15 a.m. Responding officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department discovered Jennings at the scene, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
