Murdered

On August 7, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred outside the Supernova Arcade Bar in Downtown Colorado Springs. The incident was reported to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) around 2:10-2:15 a.m. in the 100 block of East Boulder Street, near the intersection with North Nevada Avenue. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found 44-year-old Dieter Gayfield, who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
