In the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the life of 28-year-old Jose Luis Miranda Reza was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting on the southeast side of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department were dispatched to the 2600 block of Durango Drive around 3:30 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene.
