In the summer of 2022, a tragic event unfolded in an Aurora, Colorado shopping center parking lot that ended the life of 33-year-old Kion Lamenta Perkins. On July 19th, Perkins was discovered inside a vehicle, having been fatally shot. Originally from Decatur, Illinois, he was a father to three children. He was known for his love of basketball and video games.
