In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Pueblo, Colorado, the life of 51-year-old Shannon Moreno was tragically cut short. On November 6, 2022, Moreno was the victim of a drive-by shooting that occurred in the 3200 block of Nuckolls Avenue. When Pueblo Police officers responded to the report of the shooting shortly after 1 a.m., they discovered a car with Moreno and a female passenger inside.
Moreno, who was the driver, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female passenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. The Pueblo County Coroner later identified the deceased as Shannon Moreno. He was remembered by his family as someone who enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping, hunting, and riding dirt bikes, but most of all, cherished the time he spent with his loved ones.
