On March 15, 2016, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 36-year-old Raul Juarez was fatally shot at a local hotel. The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the incident and arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting. The suspect reportedly told authorities that he 'did what he had to do,' suggesting a possible motive or justification for the act.
